Terms and Conditions

1. Who We Are
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of products via https://www.holzkern.com/en-gb (the "Website"). Your contract of sale is with Holzkern – a brand of Time for Nature GmbH ("Holzkern," "we," "us"), Autokaderstraße 33/11.3, 1210 Vienna, Austria (Company Registration No. FN 485012d; VAT ID ATU73046704). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of the United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to order from us.
3. Products, Prices and Availability
3.1. Prices are shown in British pounds (GBP) and include applicable UK VAT. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you complete your order.
3.2. We take care to describe and price products accurately, but errors may occur. We may correct errors and change prices or products at any time before we accept your order.
3.3. Because our products use natural materials, slight variations in colour and grain are normal and are not defects.
4. How the Contract Is Formed
4.1. Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when we accept your order by dispatching the goods; our order-confirmation email acknowledges receipt but is not itself acceptance.
4.2. We may refuse or cancel an order (e.g. suspected fraud, pricing or stock errors); if we cancel after payment, we refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.
5. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include Shopify Payments (card payments and Shop Pay), digital wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay, PayPal, and Klarna. Payment-provider terms and privacy notices apply to their handling of your payment data; we do not store full card numbers.
6. Delivery
Delivery options, estimated times and any charges are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We will deliver within 30 days unless otherwise agreed. For UK deliveries we cover any import duties and taxes (see Shipping Policy). Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason, in addition to your other statutory rights. Full details and the model cancellation form are set out in our Cancellation & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Your Statutory Rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, including the short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days.
9. Limited Guarantee and Disclaimer
9.1. In addition to your statutory rights, Holzkern provides a voluntary Limited Guarantee as set out in our Warranty Policy. The Limited Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9.2. Except for your statutory rights and the express Limited Guarantee, and to the extent permitted by law, we do not give any other warranties or guarantees in relation to the products or the Website.
10. Our Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not liable for business losses; if you are a business, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit to the extent permitted by law.
11. Discount Codes and Promotions
Discount codes are issued at our discretion, cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value, may exclude already-reduced items, and are valid only for the stated period and conditions.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website is owned by or licensed to Holzkern and may not be copied or commercially used without our prior written consent.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms; changes take effect when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date and do not affect orders already placed.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Austrian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the mandatory protection of the consumer-protection law of the United Kingdom, where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the UK courts. Before making a claim, please contact us at hello@holzkern.com so we can try to resolve the matter.
